DESIGNER FOR A DAY

Are you a DIYer wishing you had a personal designer for the day? Our “Designer-for-a-Day” service will be perfect for you! We tackle your most pressing design dilemmas with a 6-hour, in-person collaborative design session with our Principal Designer, Christine Dennison.

We tailor the day to what you want to do!

We start with a planning call, and based on what you hope to achieve during our time together, we develop an action plan for the day. After our Design Day, you will receive a follow-up report detailing what we discussed during the session. This will include our notes, recommendations, links, and next steps.

Here are a few examples of what can be part of your day, depending on your needs:

  • Create room layouts, arrange furniture, place accessories

  • Discuss your remodeling ideas and determine the next steps

  • Select paint colors and other finishes

  • Select new furnishings online

  • We can go shopping together at local stores

  • Design window treatments

What is included:

  • (1) 30-minute planning call to assess your needs and determine a plan for the day

  • 6-hour, in-person design session with Christine Dennison

  • Working lunch on us!

  • Follow-up report documenting items discussed during the session, including any sketches, links, notes, and recommendations.

  • (1) 30-minute follow-up Zoom call to review our report and answer any questions

STYLING SESSION

When you need help deciding where to place your artwork or accessories, you need a Styling Session!

In a Styling Session, we start with a discovery phone call and discuss the plan for the session. Warning - you will have a bit of homework to do before the session!

For example: if you want help deciding which art pieces to hang on which wall, we will ask you to compile all your artwork into three piles. The “have-to-have-displayed,” the “like-do-have-displayed,” and the “we can donate if needed” piles. This goes for accessories as well!

Then our Principal Designer, Christine Dennison, will come to your home and spend up to 2 hours evaluating each item’s scale, composition, and color to determine the best place for each item. She will tell you exactly where to hang the item on the wall.
